Q: How Long Does It Take To Supply My Needs With A Casting?

A: It All Depends On How Much Information Is Supplied Up Front. With A Good Quality Drawing And Simplicity Of The Part, You Can Expect About 2-3 Weeks For A Prototype Piece. The More Complex The Request Will Add To The Delivery Time.

Q: What Does Non-Ferrous Mean?

A: "Non Ferrous" Refers To Metals, Which Do Not Contain, Include or Relate To Iron. Aluminum, Brass, Bronze and Stainless Steel Are Common "Non-Ferrous" Alloys.

Q: What Does Green Sand Refer To?

A: "Green Sand" is a process for casting alloys which use a tempered, moistened molding sand. The combination of tempered sand, clay and water forms "Green Sand"

Q: Are There Limitations On Quantities Of Castings?

A: We are a job shop foundry capable of producing anything from a short run of 1-2 casting's to a production run of 3-5 thousand casting's.

Q: What Happens If The Casting Must Be Changed After The Pattern Is Built?

A: Industry, Application and cost effective procedures dictate pattern changes. Changes are common and sometimes are cost effective in the long run.

Q: The Machinist Messed Up! I Need One More Part To Complete My Order. How Soon Can You Ship?

A: Many Times On Smaller Casting's We Will Have Production Overrun's. A Casting Could Be In Our Inventory. If So, We Will Gladly Ship It UPS Or Motor Freight That Day.
